Medical Council - Dr Winnie Tong You are here:HomeGovernanceMedical CouncilDr Winnie Tong A/Prof Tong is a consultant immunologist, allergist and immunopathologist with a specialist interest in allergy, autoimmunity and immunodeficiency. She is appointed as a Senior Staff Specialist at St Vincent’s Hospital, and consults at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and St Vincent’s Clinic. A/Prof Tong has a PhD in T-cell responses to human papillomavirus (HPV) in men with anal high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions. She is a Postgraduate Co-ordinator at the School of Clinical Medicine, St Vincent’s Healthcare Clinical Campus, Faculty of Medicine and Health, UNSW. Her research has been supported by grants from the Sydney Partnership for Health, Education, Research and Enterprise (SPHERE), St Vincent’s Clinic Research and Curran Foundations. A/Prof Tong is dedicated to leading clinically relevant research that improves patient care, and educating students and patients about the implications of basic and clinical immunology on human health.
