Our Services A full range of breast surgery techniques including breast conserving surgery, oncoplastic surgery, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and breast reconstruction are provided. Surgeons in the department work closely with specialists in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Cancer Genetics within the St Vincent’s Campus to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with cancer. Patients are seen in the Specialist’s consulting rooms in St Vincent’s Clinic. Surgery is performed in St Vincent’s Public Hospital or St Vincent’s Private Hospital on the St Vincent’s Darlinghurst campus. Our aim is to provide excellent care, from early diagnosis to ongoing management and follow up. All patients are presented at our regular multidisciplinary tumor group meetings held at Kinghorn Cancer Centre to ensure that all their care is fully coordinated within the once centre of excellence.
