OUR SERVICES

Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) focuses on diagnosing and treating vascular issues in the brain, head & neck, and spine, including:

  • Cerebral (berry) aneurysms
  • Stroke and transient ischaemic attack (TIA)
  • Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs)
  • Dural arteriovenous fistula (DAVF)
  • Caroticocavernous fistula (CCF)
  • Pulsatile tinnitus (“whooshing” noise in the ear)
  • Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH)
  • Subdural haematoma (SDH)

INR procedures are minimally invasive, navigating through the body's natural arteries and veins to treat conditions, using a 1-2mm incision in the wrist or thigh.

Our doctors are amongst the most highly-trained, well-respected and experienced operators in Australia.

We work as a multidisciplinary team with colleagues in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery and Ophthalmology, ensuring coordinated care for patients in both regular and intensive care units.

Our goal is to provide safe and effective management for a variety of Neurovascular disorders through a collaborative, evidence-based approach, minimising the length of hospital admission and facilitating a rapid return to everyday life.
